Our History

Established in 1987, SOS Rehabilitation, is quickly approaching our 20 year anniversary. It has been 19 years since we first started as Canada’s premiere pediatric supplier.

Seven years ago we expanded our seating division, which includes manufacturing all of our foam and gel based cushions.

We have combined extensive world travel, innovation, and technology, in order to honor our commitment to the industry, and becoming industry leaders in seating and positioning.

SOS’s PRO SERIES SEATING is for every user.  Whether the client needs pressure reduction, pressure relief, or both, we offer the cushion. Our seating consists of molded foam, gel, memory foam, and now air.  With our growth, we have not lost sight of the clients needs. We have built our business on customizing cushions, and will continue to do so with our Pro Custom, All Star, and Super Star cushions.

All of our PRO SERIES CUSHIONS have been tested in an independent lab and meet all industry requirements.

Through our extensive travel and growth, we have unveiled Vicair’s line of products for the North American market.  This is an AIR cushion which is maintenance free and provides STABILITY.

SOS’s PRO-BAK, and E-Z BACK are lightweight, and are the most versatile in the industry.  They provide lateral and pelvic support. Not only for wheelchairs, but for commodes, home, school, office chairs, as well as driver and passenger automobile seats.
