Vicair Pelvic Stabilizer

The Pelvic Stabilizer is a hard foam-base with a cut-out at the location of the seat bones. The PS is available in three sizes and can be used for five sizes of Liberty PPS cushions, by cutting off the front portion of two of the three sizes. The Pelvic Stabilizer raises the seat-surface under the thighs, thus reducing the tendency of the pelvis to rotate backwards. This creates a decrease in shear forces, provided that the Liberty cushion is used in combination with a suitable back support.
